For the past ten years, Simon Bilodeau’s multidisciplinary practice has displayed an aesthetics that shows his disenchantment with our civilization. His cynical and scathing look at today’s world enables us to envision the loss and waste that will occur, suggesting the archeological sites of the future in his paintings and installations. Simon Bilodeau holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Visual and Media Arts from Université du Québec à Montréal. His work has been exhibited in Canada, the United-States, England, Germany and Italy. He is represented by Art Mûr Gallery (Montréal/Berlin).
