Practical Information
Published in Montreal since 1987 by the Centre de diffusion 3D (CDD3D), ESPACE art actuel is the only Canadian periodical dedicated to promoting contemporary artistic practices and critical perspectives related to spatiality.
The bilingual (French/English) magazine is published three times a year (winter, spring and fall) and includes a thematic dossier, two sections—Practices and Perspectives—as well as book reviews on contemporary art, to which are occasionally added interviews and artistic interventions.
ESPACE also operates an online platform, updated twice a month with exclusive content, helping audiences stay connected to current activity in contemporary art. The reading room brings together reviews, critical essays, contributions by emerging writers, along with a column on public art and urban practices.
